Updated: Oct 7, 2023
Sir Cedarwood is a seasoned knight in the kingdom of essential oils. He is a well known strategist when it comes to battling with quite an array of maladies and it doesn't stop there. He makes himself useful in many ways and is a home ally you want to be sure to have on hand.
The Cedarwood tree was planted by God (Psalm 104:16, Isaiah 41:19) and in fact the Bible mentions it 72 times speaking of the Cedarwood tree calling it fragrant, strong and durable, spreading wide, graceful, beautiful and even tells us that eagles like to make their nests and perch in its high branches. Solomon wrote about it (I Kings 4:33), he imported it probably in ships made of cedarwood and then used it in building the temple and many palaces he was known for, and his chariot (Song of Songs 3:9).
Cedarwood was found in the tomb of King Midas near Ankara, Turkey. Snefru, listed as first among the pharaohs of the fourth dynasty on the Palermo Stone, speaks of importing Cedarwood from Lebanon in ships made of Cedarwood.
Sir Cedarwood's reputation for skin care is well established and when it comes to cold and flu season you want to be sure he is around. He is also well known for helping to keep everyone calm and clear headed when it's needed the most. He smells fantastic too!
